2009 Ocean Renewable Energy Conference
The 2009 Ocean Renewable Energy Conference IV brought together local, national and international renewable and wave energy leaders to continue the conversation about how we responsibly develop the emerging wave energy industry in Oregon, the United States and around the world.
Participants included stakeholders representing the full spectrum of wave energy project development – from early-stage community engagement to deployment and energy generation – including project developers, coastal community leaders, utilities, academia, state and federal regulators, researchers and others.
With the escalating spotlight on renewable and wave energy worldwide, Ocean Renewable Energy Conference IV was an interesting, informative and important couple of days.
