HMSC Visitor Center Wave Energy Education Exhibit

This project includes implementing outreach programs and developing partnerships with industry and stakeholder groups under the Coastal Outreach category of OWET’s plan. It is part of a larger program for wave energy education at Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC) to increase the general public’s understanding of marine energy. The HMSC receives over 150,000 visitors per year. Liquid crystal display (LCD) panels that will be purchased and materials will be collected or developed to provide information on wave energy technology, current project status, political and economic considerations, key scientists and engineers talking about the benefits of wave energy.
