Commercialization Program

OWET is pleased to introduce the Oregon Wave Energy Commercialization (OWEC) Program, a new partnership with the Portland State University (PSU) Graduate Business Programs. The program is designed to support market development activities by offering strategic business development and commercialization services to ocean industry companies and organizations.

Grant Assistance Program

Oregon Wave Energy Trust (OWET) offers financial assistance to project and technology developers to encourage the pursuit of public or private grants, or other similar funding, in the study or development of ocean renewable energy projects or technologies with a wave energy component that will create jobs and clean energy in Oregon.

University of Oregon Technology Entrepreneurship Program

OWET is working to facilitate connections between ocean renewable energy companies and the University of Oregon Technology Entrepreneurship Program (TEP), a unique and synergistic partnership of University of Oregon College of Business, the Office of Technology Transfer, the School of Law, the Graduate College, Oregon Health & Sciences University, Portland State University, and the Battelle..
